We have significant experience in conducting real estate transactions both in transactions between Hungarian private parties and contracting with foreigners, for residential and commercial properties.
1) Contracts related to ownership of real estates
In Hungary, contracts related to ownership of real estates shall be countersigned by a lawyer, notary public’s assistance is not required.
Our Law Office undertakes full-scope of work required for legal transactions in for real estate contracts, including consultations with the parties, checking the status of the real estate in the property register, making, countersigning the contracts, submitting documents to the Land Registry Office and representation of the parties before the competent Land Registry Office until right of ownership is registered. We provide the full-scope information on obligations to pay taxes and duties in relation to the contracts. When setting up a contract we help our client to select the most favourable construction.
For foreign clients, our service will contain, if necessary, procedure before the Administrative Office and representation in the licensing procedure.

Regarding each transaction our Office undertakes full-scope administration, including handling of payments and money received on lawyer’s escrow account, and administration of giving into possession.
2) Operation of properties
Special legal knowledge is required when operating commercial properties (office buildings, commercial centres). We have been active for several years in this specialist area.
Operating commercial property requires special application of lease law, developing the system of securities, as well as creating and checking contracts for services relating to maintenance and other works.
